Commemorating the International Education Day 2025
Education Cabinet Secretary Hon Julius Migos EBS, Friday commissioned eight newly constructed Junior School classrooms at Mghambonyi Comprehensive School and a tuition block at Mbauro Comprehensive School in Wundanyi Sub-County, Taita Taveta County.
While commemorating the International Education Day 2025 the CS urged students to take advantage of the the July examination series , a significant innovation in the education calendar that aims to enhance opportunities for candidates to improve their academic qualifications and address challenges in learner progression.
During the event, the Cabinet Secretary urged parents to register under the Taifa Care Programme and enlist their school going children as dependants.
In line with the International Education Day's 2025 theme, “AI and education: Preserving human agency in a world of automation”, the CS encouraged learners to embrace the use of technology however cautioning them against its misuse. He stated that technology is an enabler to one's success however, should not lead one into criminality.
While still on his working tour, the CS commissioned newly constructed junior School classrooms at Mwanyambo Comprehensive School in Voi.He was joined by Hon. Danson Mwashako Mwakuwona, Member of Parliament for Wundanyi Constituency and Hon. Khamis Chome Abdiwas, Member of Parliament for Voi Constituency.
