Partnership that enhance Kenya Education System in line with Global Standards Remains Priority
On Monday, the Principal Secretary for the State Department of Higher Education, Dr. Beatrice Muganda Inyangala, received a courtesy call from Dr. Betty Ogange, Education Specialist in Teacher Education at the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Vancouver, Canada.
During the meeting, they discussed the National Qualifications Framework for Micro-Credentials, which aims to expand access to skills recognition respond to evolving labor market demands, and offer learners flexible, modular, and industry-relevant learning pathways. Also present were senior officers from the State Department and Dr. Alice Kandie, CEO of the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA).
