Review of New Funding Model Friday 24th May 2024

The State Department of Higher Education and Research hosted a two-day workshop in Naivasha on 23^rd and 24^th May 2024 to reflect on the implementation of the first (1^st) cycle of the New Funding Model (NFM). In attendance were CEOs of SAGA’s within the State Department, Senior officers from the State Department, and student leaders from both public and private universities. The meeting was necessitated following the launch of the New Funding Model on 3^rd May 2023 by President Dr. William Samoei Ruto.

The meeting was officially launched by the Secretary of Administration Fredrick  Ndambuki on behalf of the Principal Secretary Dr. Beatrice Inyangala.
