Kenya and Denmark Sign MOU on Higher Education
This morning, the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Julius Migos Ogamba, together with the Principal Secretary, State Department for Higher Education and Research, Dr. Beatrice Muganda Inyangala, had the honour of hosting the Minister for Higher Education and Science of Denmark, Christina Egelund.
Kenya and Denmark have maintained a long-standing cordial relationship, running into sixty now. The two countries have partnered in various ways, including supporting our universities in the field of science and capacity building of staff at the university level.
The Memorandum provides a framework for collaborative work, including joint research initiatives, information sharing, academic exchanges, and organizing workshops.
The meeting was also attended by Vice-Chancellors from 15 public universities.
